It’s OK Magic, We still love you.

The Orlando Magic totally lost last night, against my predictions. Epic Fail on my part. Kobe and the Lakers played a tremendous game completing the game 25 points ahead. Final score: 100-75. The first quater was a great quarter because the Magic seemed in it to win it! We actually led! Then second quarter came around and we just seemed to fall apart a bit and not hitting the shots we needed to hit. Kobe and the Lakers were on! Now – I still have hope… remember game 1 against Philly? We lost that one too…yet we came back to win the series. Hopefully this loss was just due to nerves and and overexcitement due to all these young players actually making it to the Finals! Against LA at that…the team that has Phil Jackson as coach and has been to the Finals a gazillion times!

Sure the Magic have their work cut out for them and no matter what the outcome is of this series, they deserve some major props for making it this far. We have been the underdog this whole playoff series and we’ve proven ourselves to be victorious and losing to LA will not take that away, well it shouldn’t anyway. Orlando fans should be proud!

I’m sure Dwight Howard will also recover from his 12pt disappointing game. Hey, it happens. Unfortunately it happened during the FINALS! Fail Howard, FAIL! LoL But we still love you too because we know you do Magic most every other game.

Kobe, dude…another 40pt game. His consistancy and greatness still deserves kudos even though he is on the opposing team. Great players need to be recognized regardless of their team affiliations. Which brings me to Lebron James. He was recently fined $25,000 for his snub of the media and the Orlando team after their Game 6 loss to the Magic. Like I said in my previous post, he needs to change his attitude if he wants to be in the class of the greats. As an idol to younger generation players it is NOT ok to be a spoilsport. There will always be winners and thus there will always be losers. If you don’t want to lose then don’t play.

Now, I am by no means a sports reporter so if you want the fine details of the game. Please visit the NBA Finals on ESPN.

Tune in to ABC on Sunday night at 8:00pm EST for Game 2 of the NBA Finals!

Orlando Magic – Beat LA!

Sooooo! Tonight is the big night! In less than an hour the Orlando Magic will be facing off against the LA Lakers for game 1 of the NBA Finals. This is like, what, the second time we’ve been to the finals in our franchise history? Isn’t that AWESOME! I am very confident that the Magic will do just fine tonight and be a competitive opponet against LA. We’ve beat LA twice this last season but only by a basket or two so we really have to be on our A game.

Good news is Hedo Türko?lu is GREAT on the road so far. He actually does better away than he does at home…how odd is that? Not that I’m complaining or anything! Dwight Howard will definitely shine tonight if he’s on his game. MVP! Sore losers such as Lebron James should not be MVP’s… being a competitor gives no reason to brush off congrats when they are due and speaking to the press when you’re always so quick to run to them when you win. Sorry you could’t keep talking about yourself and your greatness Lebron! Check your attitude and then you’ll be a great player again!

I’m also glad Nelson was activated again, however, I’m happy that he will be playing backup to Rafer Alston. Alston has worked really hard and perfomed well since he took over for Nelson in February. Plus the whole chemistry of the play-offs have been formed without his presence and we don’t want to throw that off! That would be noooo bueno!

So – my predictions. Orlando wins with a difference less than 5 points. :-)
